  • What's the minimum order amount?
    We do not have a minimum order quantity for cutting & making services, or for stock range purchases. For customised goods, the minimum order quantity is 50 pieces.
  • Do you have a stock range?
    Yes, Ensign stocks PINOTI brand Italian Silk and Polyester fashion ties, Australian made satin formal ties, bowties and hanks (in 36 different colours), formal striped ties and hanks (in 12 different colours), Uniform ties (in 12 different colours), dinner shirts, cummerbunds, cravattes, formal vests. cufflinks, braces and socks.
  • What are Cut & Make Services?
    Our CMT service means we can manufacture ties and scarves using your own fabric. This is an ideal solution for weddings and fashion labels. Please contact Ensign to discuss fabric requirements.
  • Can we see a sample before ordering?
    Pre-production sampling is only done as part of a confirmed order. This is due to the substantial time, material and preparation involved with customising articles. This is an industry wide practice. Instead, we provide samples of previous work for quality comparison
  • What are your normal delivery times?
    Customised items take 6 to 8 weeks for delivery, including prototyping. Cut & make services for small orders can take 2 to 3 days. Stock orders can be shipped immediately.
  • Can you make items in different sizes?
    Yes. We can manufacture ties and scarves to your required size. We provide children’s ties, slim width and extra long ties for taller and larger gentlemen.
  • Do you have a design service?
    Yes, our design department can assist you in developing your design. Our designs are provided as a complimentary service to our clients. Please note that these designs remain copyright of Ensign International Pty Ltd until a purchase order for customised goods is placed with Ensign, upon which ownership of that design is transferred to the customer.
  • Do you match colours?
    PMS colour matching for printed articles is available. Woven articles are matched as closely as possible based on thread colours available to us. It is rare that we cannot find a matching colour, however some tonal difference may occur due to batch dying methods.
  • Do you have a product catalogue?
    Yes, we carry a catalogue of our stock range and services. We do not have a catalogue for customized products, as our product range is always changing. We do offer images of previous work, and physical samples. Swatch books and images for stock articles are available.
  • Can you reproduce a tie from a sample?
    Yes we can. Please send us your physical sample and our weavers can reproduce the design and colour. Please note, a minimal change can occur between the original product and the reproduction. Minimum order quantities apply.
  • Can you convert a tie to a clip-on?
    Yes. Please knot the tie to the length you normally wear it and send it to Ensign in an addressed return satchel with your contact details.
  • What artwork formats do you work with?
    If you have artwork files to send to Ensign, the following vector based formats are preferred: CorelDraw *.CDR, Adobe Illustrator *.AI, Encapsulated Post Script *.EPS. For JPG, GIF or Bitmap formats, please send in high quality 300 DPI resolution. PDF files are acceptable if the content is either vector based or of high resolution.
  • Do you offer trade prices?
    Yes. Ensign is a member of APPA - the Australian Promotional Products Association. We offer wholesale pricing for uniform and clothing retailers and resellers. Please contact us to set up an account.
